Stryker

Stryker Orthopaedics is a medical technologies company that has become one of the biggest names in orthopedic devices, including hip implants.  It employs over 20,000 people across he world, and brought in over $8.5 billion in 2012.

Despite the fact that it is a leader in hip implants, Stryker had to recall several of its metal-on-metal products in the summer of 2012.  The products that were recalled were part of a set of customizable neck and stem components that allowed surgeons to pick the exact pieces they thought would fit their patients best.  While it is a seemingly innovative idea, the metal parts rubbed together and released metal ions into the surrounding tissue of the implant, causing severe complications.

A number of patients have suffered serious injuries and are filing lawsuits against Stryker over their recalled Rejuvenate and ABG II products.  If you have a metal on metal hip implant and have suffered serious injuries, our attorneys are here to help.  Contact us today for your free case review.
