Byetta

Byetta, manufactured by Amylin Pharmaceuticals, is an injectable GLP-1 therapy used to treat type 2 diabetes.  The drug acts upon the pancreas, stimulating it to make more insulin.  Unfortunately, Byetta doubles an individual’s risk of developing pancreatitis, and also puts patients at increased risk for kidney damage and kidney failure.

If you or a loved one have taken Byetta and have experienced pancreatic or kidney problems, you may be eligible to join lawsuits that are underway.  We invite you to familiarize yourself with the content on our website, and then contact one of our attorneys to discuss your case.  Each case is unique, and only by speaking to an experienced attorney will you get the answers you are looking for.
